The inspiration for the “Shanghai Room” Master Suite was the magnificent international city of Shanghai. The space has an ethereal, coastal feel with urban sophistication. Soft shades of white are contrasted by metallics of platonized silver, bronze and pewter. There is a strong focus on duality between soft, textured, organic elements and hard, clean lined architectural materials. Geometric shapes such as circles and squares are not only meaningful symbols but emphasize balance and repetition.
