 
Erin
G. Carlin came to Kira Krumm Interior Design as
an Interior Design Assistant in April of 2005
and in June of 2006 Erin was promoted to Design
Associate. Ms. Carlin’s goal after college
was to find a design firm that was innovative,
cutting edge, and on the forefront of design in
Southwest Florida. After interviewing with many
design firms in South Florida she knew immediately
that coming to work for Kira Krumm Interior Design
was the perfect choice.
Ms. Carlin’s fast-paced, multi-tasking skills
enable her to excel as Kira Krumm’s Interior
Design Assistant. Ms. Carlin is involved in every
step of the interior design process, including
sourcing furniture and fabrics, specifying materials
and finishes and installing the finishing touches
in the Client’s home. She works closely
with Kira and acts as a Client liaison for the
company. She also assists in auto-cad drafting
of floor plans, elevations, tile layouts and lighting
plans.
Ms.
Carlin is originally from Ft. Myers, Florida and a Summa Cum Laude
graduate from the University of Florida, class of 2005. She graduated
number one in her Interior Design class and received a Bachelor
of Design degree as well as a Bachelor of Business degree. While
in school, Ms. Carlin aided the Interior Design department in
gaining FIDER reaccredidation. While at the University of Florida,
Ms. Carlin interned at various design firms in the commercial
and residential fields, to gain a more extensive professional
background in Interior Design and Architecture. Having worked
in the design field before graduation, Ms. Carlin was extremely
prepared for the dedication and drive it takes to be part of the
design field today.
Ms. Carlin is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior
Designers and International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
She qualified to sit for the National Council for Interior Design
Qualifications (NCIDQ) test in April 2007. |
